Jim is the digital artist, with an extensive career in communication. Following a formal education at the Center for Creative Studies, he practiced his art in several communication agencies and art studios in the Detroit area. He was an early adopter of digital media, and as Michelangelo said at age 87, “Ancora imparo — I am still learning.” Jim was head writer and producer of a long-running monthly video magazine. He edited monthly print and web magazines and wrote several books. He is a photographer, photo editor and illustrator. |
| Bonnie is the business manager. She is a graduate of Oakland University, Rochester, MI. She is a public speaker, management consultant, trainer, and performance coach who has consulted in the financial, nonprofit, communication, and automotive industries. Mindy and Molly the studio cats are a recent addition to Blue Ridge Creativity. They were just a few days old when they were found huddled together in a cold garage and were rescued by Shelter to Home, Inc. in Allen Park, MI. Although the nearly-identical twins are extremely clever, they have not yet mastered the computer mouse, but they are trying to learn the keyboard. So, for now, their duties are limited to eating, sleeping, chasing each other, and watching the birds through the windows. |
